Oprah 2011

What an amazing ride this has been. Thank you to all of you for watching Oprah, for supporting me, and being interested in my story. I feel so lucky and blessed to have had this opportunity. I feel touched that my story and life meant so much to so many people. If you didn't get to watch the Oprah episode, you can check out the full story here. Thank you again to all of you for being so inspirational to me in my life. I have learned so much from each of you, and have grown as a person because of the amazing people I have been able to have in my life.

Jill, I have enjoyed watching all three of your Oprah episodes over the years. I wondered if you and your family were LDS because you seemed like you were and I finally had to use google to find out. I am happy to see that you are. I am sorry to hear about the health issues that you have to deal with, but you seem to stay so positive and handle it so well. I am so happy for you that you are so happy in your life. You are gorgeous inside and out. Best wishes!

Hi Jill, my name is Kelly, I live in Salt Lake. I had the same surgery 10 years ago and am now starting to have similar complications to you, not being able to eat. I've been diagnosed with gastroperisis. I would love to have an opportunity to talk with you if possible. I may be able to get some answers. Your story is very inspirational and I believe your an amazing woman. I look forward to your response. Thank you for your time.

Thank you so much ladies! I appreciate it so much when people read my blog, and have been interested in my story. It means the world to me.

Kelly-I'm so sorry you have having struggles. I know how hard it is to not be able to eat. I would love to talk to you. You should email me @

I would love to tell you who my doctor is and get to know a little about your situation. I don't guarantee that I can fix it, but it always helps to be able to talk. :)

Michelle-are you from Utah? I am LDS, and I'm very proud of that fact. I worked really hard to get to where I am spiritually, and I feel more complete then I ever have in my life. Thanks so much for following my story. :)
